Spanish duo Night Stories makes their debut on Steyoyoke Black with a mysterious and compelling 4-track EP titled Monolith. The EP perfectly balances sparse glittering synths with a hum that asserts the darker side of techno.

The EP begins with Monolith, which immediately thrusts the listener into an irregular kick and tom beat. Continuing the haunting journey, Gravity takes the listener to a place where light only appears in flashes through delicate plucky downward arpeggios. Next, another original, Black Hole, is composed of sorrowful and dramatic soundscapes that slowly escalate the listener's soul to a more intense and sensual experience. Finally, Outer Space forces the listener to appreciate the delicacy of the EP's production.
